Deep in the Amazon, where Shining Path’s bloodthirsty violence and homophobia collide to devasting effect. Saor bears the weight of Peru’s haunted past as he accompanies “his” Valentina’s body for burial. The young shaman slowly transcends his own perception of reality through the disquieting revelations of the community who killed her.
