“Draw for change!” Women’s day events

March 8, 2024/in News /by clindoeil

Because women have things to say…and draw!

Through “Draw For Change!”, we hear the echoes of female artists challenging norms and shaping narratives.

Don’t miss today’s “Draw For Change!” events on this International Women’s Day.

  • Join us for the screening of ‘Behind the Lines’ and conference with the director Alaa Amer at  Musee des confluences in Lyon at 20.00.
  • “Draw for change!” is part of De Cinema‘s day of empowerment of women through a unique collective film experience: at 13.00 – a shot of ‘A stroke of freedom’ with Egyptian cartoonist Doaa el-Adl. At 14.00 – Take Up Space – a creative workshop. Get busy with Chrostin with pen, paper, text and colour to visualise your voice. Drawing experience is not a requirement. Sign up for a change!
