Selection IDFA Forum ‘By the Name of Tania’

The 18th of November we will present our project ‘By the Name of Tania‘, directed by Bénédicte Liénard and Mary Jiménez, at the upcoming IDFA Forum in the rough cut section for possible partners. ‘By the Name of Tania‘ is a hybrid film that tells the story of a teenage girl forced into prostitution in the gold mining regions of Peru.

 

Creative Europe Slate Funding

We are very proud to announce that Clin d’oeil films has been granted funding from the Creative Europe Media Programme for their slate, containing the following projects: ‘The Falling Sky’, directed by Pieter Van Eecke, ‘Love is not an Orange’, directed by Otilia Babara and ‘The Master’s Plan’, directed by Yuri Carlos Ceuninck. Congratulations to all filmmakers!

Shoot ‘Overseas Filipino Worker’

As you can see in the pictures below, we started shooting ‘Overseas Filipino Worker‘. ‘O.F.W’ is directed by Soa Yoon, produced by Iota Production and coproduced by Clin d’oeil. The shoot takes place in the Philippines, where everything goes according to plan.

Official selection ‘Houses with Small Windows’ at Kurdish Film Festival Berlin

We are pleased to announce that ‘Houses with Small Windows’, directed by Bülent Öztürk, will be screened at Kurdish Film Festival Berlin. The festival takes place from 23th until 29th of August, the film will be screened Tuesday 28th of August.

Start edit ‘Madre del Oro’

As you can see in these pictures we are happy to announce the start of the edit of ‘Madre del Oro’, a film directed by Mary Jiménez & Bénédicte Liénard. For the editing we are collaborating with Marie-Hélène Dozo.

 

 

Eurimages supports ‘Transnistra’

We got some big news at the end of last month that made us very happy! The Eurimages Board of Management decided to support the film ‘Transnistra’, directed by Anna Eborn. ‘Transnistra’ is a Swedish-Danish-Belgian project, produced by Memento Film and co-produced by Adomeit Film and Clin d’oeil. We are very grateful to Eurimages, but also to VAF, CCA and Casa Cafka for their support.

Release ‘Manu’ in Belgium

After a very successful premiere and great press reviews we are happy to announce ‘Manu’ will be screened at different venues in Wallonia as well as in Flanders. Take a look at the website of the film to find out when it’s screened near you. You don’t want to miss out on this one!

Official selection ‘Sunnyside’ at DOK.fest München

We are thrilled to announce the official selection of ‘Sunnyside’ for the 2018 DOK.fest München! The festival will take place from the 2nd until the 13th of May. The film will be screened in the DOK.panorama section on Sunday the 6th, Wednesday the 9th and Thursday the 10th of May.

World premiere ‘Ubiquity’ at Hot Docs

We are very excited to announce that ‘Ubiquity’, directed by Bregtje van der Haak and coproduced with BALDR Film, will have its world premiere at the 2018 Hot Docs festival! Hot Docs will take place from April 26 to May 6 2018.

‘Samuel in the Clouds’ selected in Albertville, France

‘Samuel in the Clouds’ has been selected to be screened at a discussion night at the 16th edition of Le Grand Bivouac in Albertville, France! The festival, which encourages cultural diversity, has invited many professionals that know the Andean environment and its culture to talk about the issue of climate change for this film event. The event will take place on the 20st of October.

‘Samuel in the Clouds’ wins Youth Jury Prize in Poland

At the 13th Mountain Film Festival in Zakopane, Poland, ‘Samuel in the Clouds’ has received the wonderful Youth Jury Prize in the International Mountain Film Competition yesterday! The Youth Jury Prize was prepared by the Youth Jury from The Antoni Kenar Art Schools Complex in Zakopane. It is fantastic to obtain this recognition from a youth jury!
